Delivering the pages
This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) and Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States), who act as our processors. To deliver the pages, like for any website, they receive your IP address and browser type. They keep them in their server logs only as long as they need them to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse, and we use them for nothing else. Legal basis: legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
On your device
When you choose a language or day or night, this website keeps that choice in your browser's local storage, so the next page opens the way you chose. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to us. You can remove it by clearing this website's data in your browser.
Early access and other links
The early access button is a plain link to the sign-up of the TruckerVerse app at app.truckerverse.app. This website collects nothing for it: the link carries only three fixed campaign tags, the same for everyone, that say the visit came from this website. When you sign up there, the app's own privacy notice applies. The links to the app's website, the shop and our channels on social networks work the same way: nothing is loaded from those sites until you tap one, and then their own privacy rules apply.
When you write to us
If you email hello@truckerverse.app, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, and use them only to answer you. We keep them until your question is answered, then at most 12 months. Our mailbox is hosted by Google. Legal basis: legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data and a copy, for correction or erasure, and for restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@truckerverse.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or with the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
